llonkrebboj1. What do you consider your current main fandom? (This can include hobbies and collecting. Anything you feel fannish about!)
...Chinese poetry fandom if that counts? I'm not doing anything particularly fannish at the moment, just collecting and reading books to learn more about the 'canon', learning new words and traditional versions of words with primers for kids that they would have used back then. I'm trying to get back into reading - actually deciding on a book and taking notes on the content, finishing it - without jumping around to start other things. It's a surprisingly uphill task! Maybe I should start a media journal here?
2. What was your first fandom?
You mean the fandom I first created for, or the fandom where I first was like stepping into a community? For the first, Code Geass in approximately 2008-9. I wrote fic and made FMVs for it! They will never see the light of day. May my usernames be forever forgotten. And NIF of course, was when I started talking to other people in the fandom.
3. Do you have any favorite headcanons or fan theories?
I have two! Whalebro as Crown Prince T_T It wouldn't have made any sense in a canon context with an emperor that sensitive and suspicious, no matter how well hidden it was. But hey, that's what headcanons are for ~ The other one is a fan theory I adopted from Merelhyn: Nie Zhen as Mei Changsu's role model with his current identity, body and the limitations they bring to Lin Shu. It's canon that they were very close (you don't see him calling many people 'uncle') so this is a natural extension of that relationship that makes sense to me.
4. Have you ever created fanworks?
Yes! I've dipped my toes into fics, FMVs (with windows movie maker omg), fanpoetry, fic translations, canon and fandom related song translations and FMV subs. Don't do any of that now though.
(Hmmmm... I say that, but then we just ended nifex in December, which was only four months ago hahahaha xD)
5. Are you still active in any old fandoms?
